Vote your butcher the best in Britain

Do you get your Sunday turkey roast, midweek turkey mince, barbecue turkey kebabs and, of course, your Christmas turkey from the best butcher in Britain? Well now is your chance to sing his praises.

The hunt is on for the British Turkey Butcher of the Year 2009 – and we’re asking you to help choose the winner.

Last year the award was won by Vic Gibson of Croydon. This year, judges will be looking for butchers displaying British Turkey to its best advantage with a good range of products, recipe dishes – whether cooked or uncooked, such as turkey kebabs, sausages or home made pies – and display of the Quality British Turkey mark.

The winner will be announced at a gala dinner in London at Claridge’s later this year.
